Mentorship Program

12227121_10156125669675018_2506526153801197859_nUNBC Commerce Student Society’s Commerce Mentorship Program exists to integrate first year commerce students into UNBC’s School of Business. This program will pair first year students (Mentees) with senior students (Mentors) providing Mentees with knowledge, skills and insight to what it is like to be a UNBC commerce student. The CMP will initially run from September to November and will include a few events with some friendly competition to keep our members involved. These events will include a fun icebreaker event, a midterm relief night and a formal wrap-up dinner.

Once every week or two Mentors will go for coffee or attend events with their Mentees and will be awarded points for sharing their hang outs over social media. Each week the OC will have a designated “Hot Spot” where each team will be awarded bonus points for meeting at these locations or events. The program will wrap up at the Commerce Student Society’s annual Autumn Affair etiquette dinner where the winning team will be announced and awarded prizes.
